Newcastle are now stepping up their interest in the Slovenian after Alexander Isak made a verbal transfer request on Thursday.

Al-Hilal and Liverpool are both lining up moves for Sweden striker Isak.
And the Daily Mail says Newcastle are now turning to Sesko as a potential replacement in the event Isak cannot be persuaded to stay.
Sesko signed a new deal to 2029 last year, which also saw a £55m buyout clause removed.
However, RBL are prepared to sell Sesko for a realistic price should the young centre-forward choose to move on.
