Newcastle scouting Man Utd target Filling - with groundbreaking plans underway

The 17 year-old has been linked with a Europe's biggest clubs for the past year, including Manchester United.

The Daily Mail says Newcastle have had Filling on their radar since last year.

The AIK prospect is high on Newcastle's scouting list, but a deal is difficult to achieve because a transfer cannot take place until he turns 18.

Filling will not come of age until the end of November, which means that a possible move to Newcastle cannot take place until January 2027.

As such, Newcastle's Saudi owners are now considering buying a second European club to help avoid such issues in the future.
