Frank replaced Postecoglou at the end of last season after the Australian led them to a dismal 17th place Premier League finish.
The now Nottingham Forest boss did manage to break their 17-year trophy drought, however, beating Man United in the Europa League final.
Spurs are enjoying life under Frank so far, sitting in third, level on point with rivals Arsenal (9), and beating Villareal 1-0 in their first Champions League game of the season on Tuesday (September 16).
Speaking to the press ahead of their game with Brighton on Saturday (September 20), Vicario revealed a large reason for their success under Frank is due to ‘greater clarity.’
Vicario said: "What has changed is being able to recognise the different phases of the game, understanding when we need to press high with intensity and when we need to cover the pitch better.
“In general, there’s more focus on defending the box, also because we have more clarity about the different movements without the ball."
