The Premier League leaders beat Chelsea 1-0 in a relatively uneventful second leg of the League Cup semi-finals at the Emirates.
Since then, all the talk has been of an incident just before the game in which Rosenior yelled at Arsenal players and coaches for encroaching over the halfway line.
Speaking ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Sunderland on Saturday (February 7), Arteta apologised for the incident.
"I don't know, it's his opinion and obviously we respect everybody,” he said.
"At any point, if one of the staff members went through that, we apologise and that's it. It's very common in football, especially with the keepers because they have to kick long balls and all that. So nothing there to comment."
