Manchester United and Newcastle are interested in VfB Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade.

The Germany U21 international has been a target for Bayern Munich, but their €75m swoop for former Liverpool attacker Luis Diaz has cooled their interest.

Stuttgart rate Woltemade at €90-100m and will be encouraged by interest from the Premier League arriving.

Both Newcastle and United are seeking a new centre-forward signing and The Sun says Woltemade is being seriously considered.

Woltemade admits he’s not surprised to be earning the attention of major clubs.

He recently said: "I think that's part of it. It wouldn't be optimal scouting if a club didn't have that on their radar right now."
