Regarded by many as the greatest player of the Premier League era, Giggs is yet to be nominated for the Hall of Fame. While no official word has come from the selection committee, it's widely regarded the snub is due to the Welshman's off-the-pitch issues.
Nine of Giggs' former United team-mates are now among 24 inductees.
"It's not something that I really think about," Giggs told the Daily Mail via betting site BetSelect.
"It's been brought up a couple of times, and only then do I think about it. (The Hall of Fame) isn’t something you start in football to be in.
"I came into football to play and to try to be the best player I could be. And then you get greedy, you want to try and win things. And I was fortunate to be at United during an era when we won a lot.
"But I don't know who makes the decisions. It’s not something I lose sleep over.
"If it happens, great. If it doesn't, then, as I said, I won't lose sleep over it."
