According to Africafoot, Mouhamed Dabo, 17, who is currently on trial at Man United could be set to sign having impressed during his time at the club.
Dabo has spent the past few weeks training at United Carrington complex and has caught the eye of the club’s youth coaches due to his “raw talent and intelligence on the pitch.”
United won’t have a free run at the U17 Senegal captain, however, with Catalan giants Barcelona also monitoring his situation.
The young midfielder spent around a month training with the La Liga holders and is understood to have impressed there too.
If he signs, Dabo will become United’s second midfield signing from Africa in as many years, following the arrival of Malian Sekou Kone in the summer of 2024.
