Man Utd chiefs discuss reversing Casemiro decision

It was announced last month by both club and player that Casemiro would leave Old Trafford when his contract expires this summer.

However, there have been increasing calls for the decision to be reversed given the Brazil international's outstanding run of form under manager Michael Carrick.

Now RTI Esporte is reporting United directors are actively discussing drawing up a new contract offer for Casemiro's consideration.

Nothing as yet has been formalised, but management are now debating reversing their decision to offering the 34 year-old new terms.
