Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia also known as the “bomb squad” have been left out of the United pre season tour squad who will travel to the U.S later this week as they prepare to face the likes of West Ham United, Bournemouth and Everton stateside.
United have so far only raised £25m this summer through sell-on clauses and Jadon Sancho’s loan release from Chelsea. The club must now sell the rest of their unwanted players in order to bring in new signings or they will otherwise be stuck with players who do not wish to represent the club anymore.
Marcus Rashford is on the brink of being announced as a Barcelona player after joining on a loan deal with an option to buy for €30 million and is not considered to be part of the bomb squad any longer. However, his move will not be enough to fuel more deals for United who are in desperate need of reinforments ahead of the new campaign.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the four players are up for sale as the Red Devils wait for clubs to approach.
“Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia all left OUT of Manchester United squad for pre-season tour.
“Harry Maguire also not with the team but only due to personal reasons, he will be back soon.
“Sancho, Garnacho, Antony and Malacia all up for sale.”
Reports this week stated that United are braced to take big financial hits on the bomb squad which will only entice clubs further to make offers that will surely be accepted before the season begins to allow Amorim more flexibility in the market.
