The Sun says United are eager to open talks with Maguire about a new deal, but as yet have not heard from the England international about his plans.
Maguire has become a first-choice for United this season under both managers, Ruben Amorim and Michael Carrick, the current man in charge.
As such, Carrick and Maguire's teammates are all keen to see him stay next season. But for now, he is keeping his cards close to his chest.
