According to Brazilian outlet Globo, Ruben Amorim’s side have already initiated talks with Wolves over a deal for the 24-year-old.

It’s understood that Wolves are holding out for a fee of €50 million for Gomes, with all parties optimistic a deal can be done by the end of the year.
As talks between the two clubs progress, United are expected to enter negotiations with the player, which aren’t expected to be an issue.
Gomes has been key for Wolves as they sit rock bottom of the Premier League table, starting ten of their 12 games.
