City won 4-2, thanks to goals from Tyrone Samba, Floyd Samba (2) and Harrison Miles.
Reiss told City's website: “I think it’s the quality of the players, we have it last season, we have it again in the squad this season.
“And then it’s up to the guys again. Can we go on maximum and also for us as coaching staff, can we push them, how can we support them on the maximum of their possible performance.
“Every game has it’s own challenge. It’s a derby here, Wolves a few weeks ago. Different challenges always.
“Also when we see our players sometimes also being with the first-team, training with the first team, being involved with the EDS is a big challenge also for us to then bring them together as a team to have a performance like today in the second half.”
