Manchester City have reportedly set their asking price for winger Savinho after Tottenham’s £42 million opening bid was turned down.

The Athletic’s David Ornstein reported that Tottenham made a move to sign the 21-year-old from Man City, who is open to the move to North London.

It’s understood the offer from Spurs was around £42 million which was turned down with the club not actively looking to sell Savinho.

Reports in Brazil are now suggesting that a deal could be sanctioned should Tottenham make an offer of £67 million.

Guardiola is yet to approve of Savinho’s departure but doesn’t usually stand in the way should a place decide to leave the club.
