Beating the likes of teammate Rayan Cherki and Manchester United rival Kobbie Mainoo to claim the honour, O’Reilly has become the seventh recipient of the Premier League Young Player of the Season award after an incredible season under manager Pep Guardiola.
He also became the Premier League Academy Graduate of the Year last week as well as City’s Etihad Player of the Season on Friday, becoming the youngest ever winner of the annual fan vote at the age of 21 as the accolades roll in for the 21 year old.
Only Erling Haaland (27 goals), Phil Foden (seven) and Antoine Semenyo (six) have netted more than the defender this season, proving his quality from both sides of the pitch.
O’Reilly has made 53 appearances for City this season as he helped the side to both the FA Cup and the EFL Cup where he scored twice against Arsenal to help the side to glory.

After winning the award, the youngster spoke on the trust he has had from Guardiola who will depart at the end of the season.
"After my first appearances in senior football last season, I knew this year I could have the opportunity to play more and help the team as much as possible if I worked hard," O'Reilly told Man City's official website after winning the award.
"To get so many minutes and earn the trust of the manager and my team-mates has been the greatest achievement in my career so far.
"I’m excited to finish the season strong tomorrow and then head to my first (FIFA) World Cup before joining back up with City and working hard again next season."
This is the fourth time that a Man City player has won the Premier League Young Player of the Season award since its inception in 2019 as the side continue to dominate by developing so much talent.
