Ake said afterwards: "It's very special. Last season we didn't win anything so we wanted to win something this season. This was a perfect way to do it against title contenders.
"We are expected to win things, we expect that from ourselves. Last year was disappointing and this year we wanted to do well.
"Suddenly you are one of the older ones. We have a lot of young, talented players and a lot of mentality as well. Every day in training and meetings we are expected to win.
"We have had ups and downs this season but today we showed even the young players that everyone has the mentality to do good things."
On if this title can lead to more success, Ake added: "It's a massive boost. Every title is one you take. This gives a bit of a boost."
