Arsenal star Noni Madueke has urged the Premier League to credit him with a goal against Leeds, which was officially recorded as an own goal by Karl Darlow.

The Englishman delivered a brilliant performance for the Gunners, providing his first assist as the Londoners cruised to a 4-0 win at Elland Road, extending their lead at the top of the Premier League.

Remarkably, he wasn’t in the original starting XI but was called up just five minutes before kickoff after Bukayo Saka’s warm-up injury and instantly became the driving force behind Arsenal’s first-half dominance.

"How can that be an own goal? It was going on target, if the keeper’s not in the goal then it goes in, so, I don’t understand how that’s an own goal. So Premier League please take a look at that and fix it for me," he said.
