Lucas Bergvall made Premier League history with his goal in Tottenham Hotspur’s 3-0 victory at West Ham United on Saturday.

The 19-year-old midfielder struck Spurs’ second goal in the 57th minute, following an early opener from Pape Sarr.

With that performance, Bergvall became the second youngest player in Tottenham history to both score and assist in a Premier League match, aged 19 years and 223 days.

The club record remains with Nick Barmby, who achieved the feat at 18 years and 321 days against Nottingham Forest in December 1992.

West Ham’s defeat added to their woes in the 2025-26 season, extending a difficult start to the campaign and leaving fans searching for answers after another disappointing display.
