Liverpool left sweating after Jacquet suffers serious injury with Rennes

Jacquet has signed with Liverpool for £60m in the past week and in his first game since his commitment, he broke down in yesterday's 3-1 loss.

"For Jeremy, it's his shoulder, and for Abdelhamid (Ait Boudlal, the other Rennes player injured) it's muscular," Rennes head coach Habib Beye.Beye said in his post-match interview. 

"We'll have time to see, but it's definitely quite serious for both of them."

Liverpool will learn more when Rennes are sure about the extent of Jacquet's injury in the coming week.
