The winger has since made his professional debut with the reigning Premier League champions, scoring a late winner in their 3-2 victory over Newcastle earlier in the season.

According to The Athletic, Liverpool have now been told to pay a minimum of £2.8 million to Chelsea in compensation.

It’s understood that the fee could rise by a further £4 million if certain performance-based milestones are met.
