Leeds United are reportedly preparing a bold move for a Brighton's Facundo Buonanotte as manager Daniel Farke aims to strengthen his squad for the battle to stay in the Premier League.

The 20-year-old was a standout for Leicester City last season but was powerless to stop them from going down in their first season back in the Premier league.

According to the Yorkshire Post, Farke and Leeds are hoping that is a one off and are keen on bringing the Argentinian to Elland Road.

Leeds won’t have a straight shot at Buonanotte, however, with German giants Borussia Dortmund also said to be interested.

Journalist Ben Jacobs has also provided his verdict on the Buonanotte transfer as he wrote on social media: "Understand Leeds hold a genuine interest (in) Brighton’s Facundo Buonanotte.

“However, there’s currently low confidence in pulling off an ambitious move. Buonanotte has several suitors, including clubs with Champions League. Dortmund have held talks and are considering a bid."

The West Yorkshire club will start their life back in the Premier League with a visit from Everton on Monday August 18th.
