The 30-year-old was widely expected to leave Arsenal during the summer transfer window but was instead handed a new contract.
Trossard’s new deal didn’t extend his stay at the Emirates, instead it just gave him a pay rise.
The winger has enjoyed a decent start to the season, scoring three goals and providing four assists in his 13 goals across all competitions.
As a result, he’s hoping to get an extension, telling The Sun: "I still have two years left and then we will see what the club wants as well, where do they see me, where I am at that point.
“But I’m loving life at Arsenal, I’m really happy to be here. It’s such a great club, obviously we’re in a good moment and I hope I can win things with Arsenal."
