Now Son admits he plans to return to England to say goodbye to fans and his former teammates in the coming months.
"I have to return to London to say goodbye to the fans. It is appropriate to say goodbye face to face," said Son to The Chosun.
"It's going to be an emotional day. I would then like to meet the fans at eye level and I'm just glad Tottenham is doing well."
