Konsa said: "Excellent night. Since I was a kid, you always dream about these moments.

"For it to finally happen with my whole family watching back home. It will be a moment I will never forget. To finally score tonight was an amazing moment.

"I think it is everyone's dream no matter where you play. It is everyone's dream to score for their country.

"We have had a great week in camp, and we showed our levels in training."

Madueke also stated: "I'm delighted for the team performance, for the win. It was a really top performance. Thank God I was able to score my first goal, just a top day overall.

"It was a great flick from Morgan (Rogers), as soon as it broke for me I had one thought - to go as fast as I could and go for goal. It was a great feeling, something you work for and dream of when you are a lot younger. For it to come to fruition is a great feeling."
