According to the BBC, Everton are hoping to tie the 31-year-old down to another long-term contract with the Merseyside club.
Pickford has been arguably one of their best signings of the Premier League era, making 322 appearances across all competitions since joining from Sunderland back in 2017.
Any potential ‘long-term’ deal could see him retire at the club, with his current deal set to expire in 2027, when he will be 33.
It’s understood that manager David Moyes see Pickford as a key player alongside defenders James Tarkowski and Jarrad Branthwaite, who signed a new five-year deal in July.
