Chelsea captain Reece James denies they have a discipline problem after winning at Nottingham Forest.

The 3-0 win was achieved despite a late red card for Malo Gusto. It was the fifth red card for the Blues in their last six games.

"It's difficult, if you look at all of them, they’re all very much different red cards," James explained. "They’re not straight reds, they’re double bookings.

"I was next to him (Gusto) when I saw him going for the tackle, and it is a split second. He was there to win the ball, and he just mistimed it.

"No, I wouldn’t say this is a problem for us. We have to accept it. This is what's happened in the past few games, but it's not something that will continue."

Of his own form and fitness, the fullback continued: "I'm feeling good and that's reflecting in how I'm performing on the field," James said. "I don't want to go into too much. Many people behind the scenes are helping me; they know who they are.

"I have someone at the club that I work closely with as well. He has been a big part of keeping me on the pitch."

James added: "I'm on the way to getting back to where I was. It's taken a long time, but I am feeling stronger game by game. I'm happy to be playing for Chelsea Football Club and playing regularly again makes me happy."
