The 25-year-old is a member of Man United’s ‘bomb squad’, forced to train alone after missing out on a place in their pre-season tour of the USA.
So far, only Marcus Rashford has forced his way out of the club, joining Barcelona on loan for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
According to German publication BILD, Sancho is hoping to be the next and is willing to take a pay cut in order to force his return to Dortmund.
The report states he has informed them that he is ready to accept a salary of roughly €8 million (£7m/$9m) per year, about 50 per cent less than what he currently earns at Old Trafford.
Sancho is reportedly earning around £300,000 per week at United and is unlikely to earn such a wage once he leaves.
