Michael Carrick is looking for Casemiro's replacement, with the Brazilian set to join Inter Miami on a free transfer following four years at Old Trafford.
Alex Scott has been named as a potential option from the Premier League, along with Sandro Tonali, Elliot Anderson, Carlos Baleba, and Adam Wharton, while Ederson is a name being mentioned from abroad.
Currently playing for Atalanta in the Serie A, Ederson is dreaming of a move to the Premier League, and according to Fabrizio Romano, the 26-year-old "would be open" to joining United.
Romano even reaffirmed that Atalanta are asking for around €45m (£38.9m) to land the tenacious midfielder, with his contract expiring in June 2027.
The three time Brazil international has made 41 appearances in all competitions this season, but having spent the last four years in Italy, wants to test himself in England's top-flight and Man United could give him that chance.
