The Norwegian has scored 153 times in 184 games for City and has 22 goals in 27 Premier League appearances this season as he tops the goalscoring charts on his way to another golden boot.

Speaking to TNT Sports, Haaland has revealed who inspired him before he made the move to the Premier League and who he looks up to as a world class striker.

"I watched Zlatan a lot when I was young. He was Swedish and nice to watch. Of course, (Sergio) Aguero I watched a lot from watching lots of City.

"Then there was also Robin (van Persie) in the Premier League. He was also left-footed, with crazy finishes. I remember one season he had with Arsenal when he scored around 38 goals. That was an incredible season."

"Even Jamie Vardy... the runs he did were amazing to see. I've been watching many strikers."

Vardy scored 136 goals in the Premier League whilst Van Persie had 144, Aguero 184 and Ibrahimovic just 53 for Manchester United.

Haaland is catching up to Ageuro and could beat his Premier League if he stays with the club until the end of the next season. He currently has 5 more goals than any player in the league and faces Leeds United this weekend as he aims for even more.
