Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres insists they will bounce back from Sunday's Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City.

The result means Premier League leaders Arsenal remain trophyless since 2020.

Gyokeres said on Monday: "Of course we don't feel at our best right now, but it's not like we have a match in three days. We will definitely come back again and be even more motivated before the (forthcoming) matches.

"We created some chances at the beginning of the game and then I think it was maybe ten minutes from halftime that they got momentum. I think they had the ball ... maybe they didn't create many dangerous chances but they had the ball for a long time and it looked the same in the second half.

"Normally, when there are two top teams, it can be so (where the first goal is decisive). In the moment of the match where they scored... yes, it was hard to get started after that."
