Tottenham’s desperate fight for survival heads to the final day, with the North London side facing off with London rivals West Ham for Premier League safety on Sunday afternoon.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side can guarantee survival with a win at home to Everton, while a draw is almost certain to be enough as they also have the far better goal difference.
It will come down to the wire for Tottenham, who cannot lose this weekend if they want to remain in the English top flight next season.
Speaking to Action Network, Barry revealed he is not worried about if Tottenham do drop down, as he predicts they will bounce right back next season.
“It's going to be a real nervy couple of matches, possibly more so around Spurs, as West Ham are expecting Spurs to secure a point or so. Nothing will surprise me this weekend.
“Premier League clubs fight right until the end, even if they are not playing for much. I expected them to get a result at Chelsea, which just shows how much every club fights.
“Having said that, if Spurs go down, they will be straight back up. I think they are too strong, the manager, the club, and the players. Although the Championship is a tough league, I believe Spurs will be able to bounce straight back up.”
Relegation would be devastating for the club but all signs point towards them staying up this weekend as De Zerbi’s aims for at least a draw on the final day.
