Wilson is in a fine run of form at Fulham this season, with 14 goal involvements in 26 appearance under manager Marco Silva who will be delighted to see the Welshman leading the side each week.
Everton have been exploring a deal to sign Harry Wilson for much of the January transfer window as they track the midfielder who has become one of the most underrated talents in the Premier League.
Now, as reported by Ben Jacobs, The Toffees have had a bid rejected for the 28-year-old who is set to stay in West London.
“Fulham have rejected an approach from Everton for Harry Wilson. No plans to sell this winter.”
Fulham have just added Oscar Bobb to their forward line for £27M which Everton may have believed would have opened the door for Wilson who is unlikely to be pushed out the side by Silva anytime soon.
Tyrique George is set to complete a move to Everton today, but manager David Moyes still clearly wants more reinforcements in midfield as he builds a side worthy of finishing in a European spot over the next year.
Wilson is now into the final six months of his deal and there is a chance that Everton revisit the deal in the summer if a deal is not reached in the winter window which slams shut later today.
