Chelsea saw 24 players leave either permenantly or on loan in the summer, but were unable to shift Axel Disasi, Raheem Sterling, David Datro Fofana, and Tyrique George
Now, according to a report from TeamTalk, West London rivals Fulham are looking to sign Sterling and George to strengthen their squad in January.
The report claims that Chelsea would be willing to cover a large portion of Sterling’s reported £325,000 a week wages in what would be a loan move for the winger.
Sterling, 31, had several options to leave Chelsea in the summer but turned them down as his family is happy and settled in London.
George, on the other hand, came very close to joining Fulham in the summer but the reported £15 million move fell through at the last minute.
