Ex-Wolves, Roma keeper Rui Patricio hangs up gloves

At 37, Rui Patricio has decided to hang up his gloves.

The goalkeeper had already announced the possibility of retiring, but yesterday evening the Portuguese Football Federation made the announcement on social media.

"A legend. Thank you, Rui Patricio," the Portuguese national team's account commented on social media.

Along with Roma and Wolves, Rui Patricio also played for Sporting CP, Atalanta and Al Ain.
