Jordan suggested the Palace manager to former Spurs chairman Daniel Levy before they hired Thomas Frank as a replacement for Ange Postecoglou.
He recalled to talkSPORT: "I like Glasner. With all due respect to the departed, I actually said to Daniel (Levy) about him during the summer, ‘Why not Glasner?’
"He had his own views on it, but I think he's a top, top manager.
"Do I think he'll be Palace manager at the end of the season? I'll be amazed because he's got nothing left on his contract now. This is his last year.
"He hasn't been given the support yet. He's working the oracle. They're taking their best players out, repeatedly taking their best players out.
"Fortunately for Palace, which is the great thing they're not taking them out, these clubs are having to pay for them now. That's the good thing about it.
"Eze’s gone and for top money, Olise went for decent money and people are having to pay for it. And Guehi, he didn't walk out the door. But again, they're operating at their highest level.
"It's like Nottingham Forest last year. Their run of form, as a unit, as a team is fabulous.
"Look at the teams that they're beating, look at the results that they're getting and they've got a European competition.
"So, we'll see how that plays out with the strength of their squad."
