The 27-year-old picked up his fifth yellow card of the Premier League season in the 1-1 draw with West Ham on Monday (September 29) and will miss their next game against Crystal Palace this weekend.
He received his fourth booking following a quick free kick in Everton’s 2-1 Merseyside loss to Liverpool on September 20, a decision that also drew strong protests from team-mate Jack Grealish.
Dewsbury-Hall took to X, formally known as Twitter, to vent his frustrating regarding some of the decisions against him.
"Forgive me if I’m wrong, and I might be, but some of these decisions are so hard to take. Mind boggling," he wrote.
David Moyes seems to agree with the midfielder, saying after the game with West Ham: "I think the decisions we've had at the moment (have been frustrating), but I think all the managers might be saying that at the moment.
“I mean there's been a general poor level at the moment. I thought the decision on Dewsbury-Hall was a really shabby decision."
