Fernandez said he would "like" and then would "love" to live in Madrid, while highlighting his admiration for former Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos earlier this month.
Chelsea responded by dropping Fernandez for the FA Cup quarter-final against Port Vale and this weekend’s huge Premier League clash against Manchester City at the Etihad.
Fernandez to stay at Chelsea?
Pastore says Fernandez has "accepted" the decision of the club and has now spoken more on the situation where he says both parties are now in agreement moving forward.
“We're on the same page with Chelsea. We made peace yesterday. There were never really any problems. We cleared the air”.
“His statement were without any intention of causing problems at Chelsea. He’s the captain, one of the team’s leaders, and he’s shown his best form on the pitch this season.”
After the Port Vale clash in which Chelsea won 7-0, Rosenior said things are "not what people think" between the two of them.
"In the right time, in the right moment, I'm sure the discussion will happen in terms of what's been said between me and Enzo," he added.
"Enzo and I are in a very good place. Things aren't what people maybe think they are."
Despite questions surrounding his future, Chelsea remain in a strong negotiating position as the former Benfica man is currently under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2032.
