A loan move from Manchester City to Everton seems to have breathed new life into Grealish who has grabbed four assists in two starts for the Toffees against Wolves and Brighton over the past few weeks.
Grealish is thriving at Everton
As reported by The Sun, Grealish ranks joint-second for fouls won, joint-seventh for successful dribbles, and joint-third for blocks, whilst his pass completion rate of 90% has impressed many fans who believed that he may not be cut out for the Premier League any more.
The England international saw his role at City under Pep Guardiola increasingly diminish and Dyche has spoken to talkSPORT about how he thrives at a smaller club, much like he did at Aston Villa.
“(Moyes) He's signed some very good players. I think Grealish, not questioning Pep Guardiola or their style at all, but Pep wants you to pop it and move more.
“But he carries it, doesn't he? He's carried it well so far. Maybe that bigger fish in a smaller pool suits him.
“He's a fantastic player and I think he started fantastically well. That one player can rub off on another player.”
Dyche tried to sign Grealish
Dyche also shared that he actually tried to sign Grealish and Chelsea’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall during his tenure on Merseyside but could not get the deal over the line.
"We went in for Dewsbury-Hall and Jack Grealish.
“I don't mean we're close. What I mean is we're putting out the calls.
“Kev Thelwell was going into these situations saying, right, can we? You get in there early and you just keep registering your interest, but you can't sign everyone.
“They've come in and they've done great. There are other players who are doing great, some of the players already there. Michael Keane's back in the side, whether it be the injured Jarrad Brantwaite, of course.”
