The Denmark wing-back struck in the 4-1 triumph on Wednesday in Chicago.
"It felt good," Dorgu told MUTV.
"It was good to help the team out there and it was good to get the win, we just keep improving and look forward to the season.
"It was good to see the fans were still there even thought the weather conditions were not so good. It was good that the team gave a good performance for the fans."
He added, "I feel like the pre-season is helping everyone to understand Ruben's (Amorim) ideas even more.
"The more training we have, the more we will grow into his ideas and I feel like it is being seen a little bit on the pitch already. We just keep improving."
On fellow goalscorer Rasmus Hojlund, Dorgu also said: "It was good to see him score again and hopefully he will score more again in the season.
"Every game is a chance to improve and be ready for Arsenal. Every game is important and we will just take it game by game."
