It has since been reported that Chelsea were unhappy with Dortmund’s conduct, however, believing that the club were trying to convince Anselmino to push for a permanent move.
Chelsea then made the decision to recall the young defender and send him back out on loan to sister club Strasbourg.
Anselmino’s move is confirmed after Chelsea decided to recall Mamadou Sarr, who joined permanent from Strasbourg in the summer before heading back on loan.
