Jackson, 24, has finally secured his move to Bayern Munich, putting an end to one of the summer’s most surreal transfer sagas.
Chelsea had initially agreed a deal with Bayern before Liam Delap’s injury forced them to request Jackson returned to Stamford Bridge and provide cover.
The Senegal international was adamant the deal would be completed, however, and the Premier League club will now receive a massive €16.5m loan fee.
Bayern’s deal for the striker also includes a conditional obligation that could see the German Giants purchase Jackson for €65m, making a total package of €80.5million.
Speaking to the Bayern Munich fans, Jackson said: “I’m really happy to now be part of this great club. Bayern is one of the best clubs in the world.
“Everyone knows the names of the legends who’ve played here and knows that this club stands for the greatest success. I’ve got big goals and dreams here and will give my all to help Bayern win further titles.”
