DONE DEAL: Aston Villa sign ASEC Mimosas prospect Kone

Kone is an U23 Ivory Coast international.

ASEC Mimosas have produced several high-profile players over the years including the likes of Yaya and Kolo Touré and more recently Odilon Kossounou, Karim Konaté and Touré Bazoumana. 

Kone's move is part of a closer relationship being struck between Villa and ASEC Mimosas.

The young midfielder has been training with the U21 squad since the start of the season.
