The 28-year-old was on loan at Besiktas from Italian giants Roma, the Turkish side then activated an option to buy in the deal, to then sell him to Aston Villa for a reported £18.25 million.

Abraham is very familiar with the club having played a key role in their promotion from the Championship while on loan from Chelsea back in 2018-19.
The striker signs a four-and-a-half-year deal with Unai Emery’s side, moving back to England for the first time since joining Roma in 2021.
It’s understood that Emery was pushing for the club to sign a new number nine to support Ollie Watkins, and has been a long-term admirer of Abraham.
