Everton are reportedly ready to sell Tim Iroegbunam this January as they clear out their squad.

Iroegbunam continues to struggle at Everton, and game time has been very inconsistent so far under Moyes

The young midfielder signed for the club back in 2024 from Aston Villa in a £9M move that the side are now ready to take a loss on.

The 22-year-old could not establish a foothold in the first-team squad at Villa Park and has now failed to make an impression on Merseyside in what has been a disappointing few years for the playmaker.

This comes from the Liverpool Echo who report that Moyes is ready to let the midfielder leave after the arrival of Merlin Rohl who will officially become an Everton player at the end of the season in a deal worth around £18M.

Everton are open to taking a lower offer for Iroegbunam and are not worried about taking a loss on the £9M the club originally paid for him. Reports have also suggested that Everton may even have to accept a loan exit as interest in the midfielder is low.
