Crystal Palace, Leeds United and Nottingham Forest have been chasing Strand Larsen this month in what has been a chaotic transfer saga as Wolves prepared to lose their the top striker, despite being in a relegation battle.
The 25-year-old has managed just one Premier League goal in 21 appearances but is set to replace Jean-Philippe Mateta who is likely to join Nottingham Forest.
This is reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano who states that the deal is now complete between the two sides.
“Crystal Palace agree deal to sign Jørgen Strand Larsen from Wolves, here we go! Transfer fee will be £45m plus £5m add-ons.
“Story revealed this morning on bid improved now confirmed, all agreed club to club.
“Jorge Mendes negotiated the deal, now agreed in principle.”
Nottingham Forest have offered £35M for Mateta in a deal that is set to be completed before the transfer window slams shut in just a few days time.
Strand Larsen, who cost Wolves £23m last summer after a successful loan will arrive in South London over the coming days as the transfer saga comes to a close.
