Chelsea were left sweating about whether the winger was set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after an already injury hit start to the season.
According to the Sun, Gittens has been cleared to remain with England U21s after an assessment found there were no lingering issues.
He will now travel with Lee Carsley’s side for the Euro U21 qualifier against Slovakia on Tuesday (November 18).
