Guiu had his loan at Sunderland cut short on deadline day, September 1, after Nicolas Jackson left for Bayern Munich and Liam Delap suffered an injury setback all on that weekend.

It's been suggested Guiu could yet return to Sunderland in January for the second-half of the season.
However, it has been decided that Guiu will remain with Chelsea for the remainder of the campaign.
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has insisted on the Spaniard staying over concerns about a lack of depth in attack.
