Chelsea are reportedly hoping a promise of more midfield minutes will turn Arsenal youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly's head.

The 19-year-old has struggled for minutes this season with Riccardo Calafiori returning to full fitness after an injury plagued 2024-25.

Still, Lewis-Skelly is primarily being used as a left-back by Mikel Arteta despite the fact he came through the club’s academy as a midfielder.

According to a report from Caught Offside, Chelsea are hoping a promise of more midfield appearances could persuade him to make the switch.

England manager Thomas Tuchel has been clear that Lewis-Skelly needs more game time if he wants a place in next year’s World Cup squad.
