Speaking ahead of their weekend clash with Tottenham, Carrick says De Ligt is still troubled by a back complaint.

The Holland defender hasn't been seen since a November clash with Crystal Palace.
Speaking first about Mason Mount, Carrick said: "Mason (will be back) sooner.
"He's not too far away. We're hopeful it won't be too long. Matta is working his way back, taking his steps and improving and being really positive."
