Burnley aim to wrap up deal for West Ham midfielder Ward-Prowse

The Clarets have been in talks with West Ham this week over a loan deal for the England international.

Ward-Prowse isn't in the plans of West Ham manager Nuno, who won't stand in his way should he choose to depart.

The Athletic says Ward-Prowse will move to Turf Moor in a straight loan without an option to buy.

Ward-Prowse has featured in just five Premier League matches, and hasn't played since the 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace on September 20.
