Bruno's whipped cross for Bryan Mbeumo's strike, and United's third of the afternoon, drew him level with Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne for 20 assists in a single season.
The Portuguese maestro has now surpassed 30 goal involvements for the Red Devils in all competitions this term, and Gary Neville waxed lyrical about the 31-year-old after his latest moment of brilliance.
"Bruno has just achieved something that is exceptional," Neville said on Sky Sports.
"To go level with De Bruyne and Thierry Henry on 20 assists in a season is a magical moment for him."
Bruno will have an opportunity to break the record when United visit Brighton on the final game of the season next weekend, and everyone associated with the club will be praying he does it.
